The 12 identical pieces are so versatile - can be used to create so many patterns. Also, because the blocks come in 6 colours, each colour in pairs, these blocks can be used for colour identification and matching activity. The shapes of the blocks are all similar, so the only variable is the colour, making this set ideal for colour learning activity as there are less elements to confuse the children.
I personally like the attention to details in this particular product. The manufacturer has raised the blocks from the wooden tray quite generously which definitely helps the little hands to manipulate the pieces more easily.
